    • a 10 percent discount on state-operated concessions and boat rentals.

A Maryland Fishing License & a Promise to Spend Time Together in the Outdoors

The annual non-tidal license for a resdient cost $20.50 and allows the licensee to fish in the fresh waters of Maryland 365 days from the date of purchase. Visit DNR Online to find the license agent nearest you.

Directions: From the Beltway (I-695): Take I-795 to Franklin Blvd. West, turn right. Bear right at Church Rd. Turn left at stop sign onto Berrymans Lane. Turn left at Deer Park Rd. and go for 2.5 miles, to Visitor Center entrance on the right. From Rt. 26 West : Take Rt. 26 to Wards Chapel Rd. Turn Left. Follow Wards Chapel to stop sign, and turn right onto Deer Park Rd. Entrance is 1 mile on the right.

Sweetheart Hike to the King and Queen Seat 
Rocks State Park

Description: Grab your sweetheart, and join a park ranger on a guided hike to the King and Queen Seat at Rocks State Park. Learn about some of the tales of the legendary Rocks of Deer Creek, and have your picture taken up on the King and Queen Seats. Meet at the Rock Ridge Picnic Area. This will be a 0.5 mile hike, please dress for the weather and for walking. Program participation is free, however area service charges apply.
Cost: No cost, area service charges apply
Directions: From Route 24 North: Turn left on Saint Clair Bridge Road. Rock Ridge Picnic Area is on your left.

Directions: From I-695 (Baltimore Beltway), take Exit 13, Frederick Road west. follow for two miles and turn left on South Rolling Road. At first intersection, bear right in Hilton Avenue. Continue 1.5 miles and turn right into park. From I-95, take exit 47 (keep left on exit ramp), heading north (Route 166) to South Rolling Road. Follow 1.8 miles and make a sharp left on Hilton Avenue. Continue 1.5 miles and turn right into park.
