Youth Fishing Winners

2015 Maryland Fishing Challenge youth winners of mentored fishing trips with sponsors.

The Youth Fishing Club is open to all youth between the ages of 5 and 15. Membership is free and each new member will receive a Maryland Youth Fishing Club Patch. Youth Angler's Log - Share Your Fis​hing Experience!

Fishing Club members who share their fishing experience on the Youth Angler's Log will be entered into a quarterly drawing for prizes.

Monthly Drawings - Throughout the 2015 Maryland Fishing Challenge (MFC) which runs year-round September 2014 – September 2015, DNR will select club members who submitted a post to the Youth Angler's Log. These 12 lucky members will be invited to attend the Maryland Fishing Challenge Finale as Youth Component winners in the 2014 MFC and will win one of many donated fishing trips. The Finale will be held on September 13, 2015 at Sandy Point Park in conjunction with the Maryland Seafood Festival.

  • June 2015 - Cameron Manal of Newark, DE
  • July 2015 - Lorenzo Sanz of Glen Arm, MD

Quarterly Drawings - Maryland Youth Fishing Club (MYFC) members who submit a photo and short summary of their fishing trip to our Youth Angler's will be entered to win a $50 Bass Pro Shop gift card. Winners will be randomly chosen four times a year.
